Welcome to the newly formed Harnett City/County Law Enforcement Officer Gang Coalition. The Coalition was established February 2007 as a means for Law Enforcement Officers in the area to communicate with each other about the rising Gang Problem in the community. The Coalition was established from money that was given by the North Carolina Governor's Commission. That grant funding got agencies together from around the area to work on solutions to the every increasing problems of gangs.

Law Enforcement Officers from the Harnett County Sheriff's Department, Campbell University, Dunn Police Department, Erwin Police Department, Lillington Police Department, Coats Police Department, Angier Police Department and Benson Police Department are participating. Meetings are every third Thursday of each month at Campbell University.
